About the Artwork
A white surface stretches across the darkness, then bends downward into a staircase. What seemed flat and certain reveals a path inward, beneath appearances and into the less familiar parts of ourselves.
The steps are uneven, because inner work never follows a polished path. Each one asks us to keep going without knowing where it leads.
The way inward begins where certainty ends. Each step brings us closer to parts of ourselves we have yet to understand.
Medium: Acrylic on basswood plywood
Dimensions: 17.5 × 23.5 × 1.5 inches (width × height × depth)
Construction: Basswood plywood panel with a hand-built wood cradle, crafted by the artist for a 1.5-inch gallery-depth profile.
Year Created: 2026
Artwork Type: Original, one-of-a-kind painting
Signature: Signed and titled on the reverse
Display: Ready to hang; hanging hardware installed
Authenticity: Includes a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity
